Who are the actual "science deniers": people who wait until vaccines are proven effective, or people who believe that there are more than two genders?

Who are the actual "science deniers": people who wait until vaccines are proven effective, or people who believe that there are more than two genders?

However you cut it, sex and gender aren’t simply binary, and the people who think they are are science deniers who are in the nut-bucket with the Flat Earthers.

I studied Biological Science in the 1970s at the 18th-ranked university in the world Even then, our professors had a saying “The law recognises two sexes: science recognises seven”. And yes, they were talking about humans.

Or, if you look at it another way you can say yes, there are only two sexes (which isn’t quite the same as gender), sperm-producing and egg-producing - but then you have to accept that a significant number of people are both, or neither. And I’m not just talking about people who are sterile, but people born with no gonads at all, or with combination ovo-testes, or with one ovary and one testicle.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?
